Diaphragmatic Breathing Meditation
This meditation will guide you through proper diaphragmatic breath so that you can instantly feel that relaxing and sedative feeling. When done right, just a few short minutes of breathing can feel like a beautiful nap. By practicing proper diaphragmatic breathing, you will give your body the important message to relax and settle, rather than being on the edge of anxiety and stress. The best part of learning to breathe properly, is that you can practice it as you are going through your day. You don't need to stop, close your eyes and breathe. Try this when you're driving, having a stressful time at work or when you're waking up or going to sleep. Hopefully soon, it will be the natural way you breathe throughout the day, no matter what you're doing.
End-of-Year Reflective Meditation
This meditation is designed to help you reflect on the end of the year, or the end of a major chapter in your life and use the intelligence and wisdom you gain through this meditation to really make the most of your new chapter or new year ahead. From what I’ve heard from my clients and friends, this year has been full of hard lessons, changes, challenges and heavy-hearted moments. It’s almost as if there is a clearing out of your old patterns, people, habits and parts of your life that no longer serve you. While that’s not a bad thing in the long run, it doesn’t mean it’s easy. Use this 40-minute meditation to really sit with yourself and get clear on what’s important for you in the new year.
